Sarah + Blake
With so many uncertainties this year, I didn’t know what was going to happen, like most brides of 2020, but we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day turned out. Traveling out of state with our close friends and family, we knew we wanted a weekend with the magic of Montana, balanced with a feeling of home. Both having a love for the mountains, and beautiful scenery, Foster Creek had a calmness about it that made it the perfect venue for us; with everyone being able to stay in the estate house, or in their own personal glamping tents, it gave us comfort and happiness in knowing that the people closest to us could enjoy the area and make memories that will last a lifetime. On an autumn day in September, we were wowed by the beautiful fall colors and the truly genuine Montana spirit. The anxiety of spending countless hours planning the perfect day faded away as soon as I saw Blake in his blue tweed suit accented by a bolo tie, overflowing with joy and an unwavering smile. Having our two dogs, Bentley and Samson alongside us made it absolutely unforgettable, especially with their matching bow ties. Stephanie and Stephen perfectly captured our connection, our sense of humor and the joy of having our close friends and family by our sides, giving us a true sense of comfort. Our intimate ceremony was followed by a delicious cocktail hour and dinner featuring in-season Montana inspired cuisine, and a night full of Basque dancing and reminiscing with smores by the fire.
