Charlotte + Ryan
Inarguably 2020 will go down in history as one of the most momentous years. Nobody could have predicted what a “new reality” a Pandemic unveiled. My Little Colorado Wedding was driven by Isabelle Kline, owner of Isabelle Kline Design as a solution to help the industry survive by curating micro/mini intimate weddings. My Little Colorado pivoted as soon as COVID restrictions started to advance and provided an alternative to couples that wanted to get married no matter how 2020 unfolded. It was a devastating time for many who were planning in some cases for years only to lose their date and in some cases money invested.
Isabelle felt an urgency to help more than just pivot her business. She had an idea and reached out to kind hearted, valued and talented partners to see if they would like to be involved by giving a free micro wedding to a couple in need. It was amazing because all the vendors involved were financially impacted themselves but not one hesitated to give all they had to make someone’s dream come true. Couples submitted heartfelt stories of why they should be chosen. Although an extremely hard decision to make with so many fervent stories received the winner became evident to the group. Charlotte and Ryan’s submission was ultimately selected.
Charlotte described herself as a dedicated teacher that wanted to marry the love of her life. This year was so important to both of them due to their aging relatives. Charlotte also explained that her mother has been fighting a debilitating disease which made it that much more important for them to have their wedding sooner than later. They were devastated to consider postponing their wedding and were in search of an alternative to ensure that their immediate family was able to witness their vows to each other. Safety was priority but the amazing talent of all that was involved made it for a beautiful intentional setting.
Design by Sundown in Littleton offered their extraordinary outdoor venue as the backdrop that was perfectly suited for this adventurous couple. My Little Colorado Wedding offered a one of a kind design package that enabled a stress free experience without compromising quality and details. The ceremony took place in front of a waterfall lined with trees and adorned by a simply beautiful floral arch and perfectly spaced bistro chairs. Charlotte loved the simplicity of what nature offered and requested ivory and greens to compliment the venue and her style. Sarah Porter, one of the most sought after fine art Photographers captured the day all so beautifully. Spreading joy, hope, memories and most of all love is what this industry does so well. It is and always will be a humbling pleasure to provide big or small in any type of situation and or atmosphere that will last forever, Isabelle Kline stated. Charlotte and Ryan will have these cherished stories to share for many years!

Due to COVID-19 we had to postpone our original wedding to next year. We were crushed that we would have to wait a year to start our journey as husband and wife. In the meantime I stumbled upon My Little Colorado Wedding’s microwedding giveaway contest. I entered us, and we won! It was the most special, intimate and memorable wedding day we could have asked for. We had eleven guests who were all family. We were especially grateful that Ryan’s grandmother was able to attend, whose diamond ring was reset and became my engagement ring on Christmas Eve of 2019. She even caught the Bridal bouquet! The venue, Design by Sundown, was a stunning contemporary architectural firm surrounded by green meadows and a rocky waterfall. The lemon poppy seed cake we decided on was delicious and enjoyed by all. We will be forever grateful to have been given this unique opportunity to wed each other during a global pandemic!
