We met at an engagement party, where he was a groomsman and I was a bridesmaid. Our connection was very unexpected, as neither of us were looking for love. There was something about us that just felt right. Early on in our relationship we experienced a whirlwind of obstacles and tests.. the pandemic, and long-distance were the most difficult. All of those experiences made us closer, stronger, more faithful, and got us thinking about our future together. As Cory Booker says, “If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together.” It is surreal to think that he is my person and I am his, for the rest of our lives! We are so thankful, and elated to watch our life unfold, to grow old together, to laugh a lot, and to love and be loved.
