Whenever Zach looked at me and said, “Let’s just get married in Colorado….” I smiled. I considered it. Then we decided it together and never looked back. Zach and I grew up in Kentucky and quickly kept finding ourselves making trips out west more and more often. The mountains now feel like home to us. Why not get married in our most favorite place? Planning a destination wedding was something I never considered, until planning a large, traditional wedding began to feel so….”not me.” Thank goodness we decided to take a leap of faith and have our small, intimate wedding. It was everything I always dreamed of. I truly can not put into words how amazing this entire week was. Every single aspect of our wedding day was exactly how I envisioned. An intimate wedding, with each other, our closest family and friends, and the mountains. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. To my husband – Zach, the day I met you, I knew you were the one. I knew you would not only be my best friend but eventually become my husband. I have never felt more sure of anything in my entire life. Thank you for loving me the way that you only can. Here’s to forever. This day will hold such a special place in my heart forever.
