Kelsey + Travis

The Wedding

“Kelsey and Travis were such a cool, laid-back couple who really wanted to focus on having a beautiful experience with their family and closest loved ones. Instead of going the traditional route, they let go of what you’re “supposed to do” and decided to have an intimate destination wedding at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Some of the highlights were the couple’s dog Frankie, who wore a pearl collar and loved running around the wide open spaces prior to the wedding, first dances with the backdrop of the Salt Flats and storm clouds that remained in the distance, and popping champagne as their “grand exit”. Kelsey really wanted her guests to have a special experience, and as a gift to them, we did a small photo session of each of the couples who attended. One meaningful detail that Kelsey included, was the top two buttons of her dress. One was from her mom’s wedding dress, and one was from her sister’s. Kelsey had a love for movement, blurry photos, and black and white film photography so we integrated that throughout the wedding day photos to create beautiful imagery for them.”
