It all began with a trip to Hawaii. Brianna had gone on a three month mission trip where she met a girl from Washington. Several months after their trip had ended, the two met up with another friend for their birthday in the US. As it turns out, Brianna’s new friend had a brother named Ryan. The following year Brianna’s best friend was getting married in Alberta. Ryan drove his sister up from Washington to attend the wedding and the rest is history. After doing long distance for about a year, Ryan proposed to Brianna while she was visiting his family in Washington. Unfortunately, due to covid, neither Ryan’s family or bridal party were able to come into Canada to attend the wedding. We made the most of the day and Ryan’s family was able to share their well-wishes online.
