Intimate and Cozy Wedding at the Cedar House Chalets

British Columbia Wedding Day

Nestled in the trees, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by National parks, Shayna and Nick said ‘I do’.

The bride was adamant from the very beginning of her engagement that she wanted a cozy low key wedding, with nothing over the top fancy, and to keep a very chill vibe throughout the day. It was more important for her that she was able to share their special day with close friends and family.

I was absolutely in love with the wood cabin chalets that housed all of the guests, and the view of the neighboring mountain range and valley from the ceremony site, but the florals Shayna had arranged from a local vendor for her bouquet and arch were my favorite touch. The greenery was harvested locally the morning of the wedding, with a few purchased blooms mixed in.

I don’t think they could have found a better match of venue and space for their personalities.
