Coryn and I met over Instagram and were intent on finding a time to collaborate on something special. We finally pulled the trigger and started to dream up this shoot and compose our stellar vendor team. Our inspiration for this shoot came from beautiful old-world details contrasted with simple minimalism. We wanted to bring together these concepts in a way that really allowed each detail and feature to stand out. Driven to create inspiration that felt elegant but down-to-earth, we found ourselves with beautiful displays of organic movement and natural beauty throughout the day.
In the spirit of creating something seasonal and free-flowing, we chose to highlight flowers that were at their peak and were largely sourced from local Colorado growers. Makeup and beauty products were chosen thoughtfully by Vert Beauty to highlight each girl’s natural look and promote feelings of authenticity and freshness. The mouthwatering marbled cake by Peony Patisserie was embellished with pressed edible flowers. The stunning pieces from The Diamond Reserve were incredibly unique and lent an irreplaceable sparkle to the shoot, and the invitation suite by Wild Hearts Calligraphy was expertly crafted with neutral and timeless details that seamlessly fused our themes together.
