Kara and Tom’s August wedding took place on a blistering hot day with hardly any clouds in sight at The Flying Diamond Ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
They opted for a private first look overlooking the mountains. Tom dropped to one knee repropose to Kara after not being able to when he initially proposed due to an injury. Their ceremony took place in the Aspen Grove where Kara + Tom shared personal vows full of laughter and tears and were married by Kara’s uncle. The reception took place in a white tent decorated with touches of greenery and gold throughout. Guests were served dinner family-style and enjoyed toasts from Kara’s father, sister and Tom’s brother. Guests finished out the night dancing to a live band.
I loved being a part of Kara + Tom’s wedding. They surrounded themselves by the people that meant the most to them and I will always remember how genuinely excited their guests were to see these high school sweethearts get married. Their easy-going personalities and incredible love for each other made their day feel effortless.
