Say your vows amongst Utah’s iconic red-rock landscape by eloping at AutoCamp Zion – a unique, airstream stay located near Zion National Park. Instead of a traditional reception, you can spend the day exploring the Narrows, hiking Angel’s Landing, or enjoying the scenic canyon drive with your newlywed! Then spend the night “glamping” along the Virgin River – falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the sunrise against the desert hues. If you aren’t the couple that wants a full-blown wedding, travel to Zion to have an intimate ceremony in one of the most beautiful spots in the country, and use your first moments as a married couple to explore what AutoCamp Zion has to offer!
AutoCamp Zion is a true modern oasis in the heart of the desert, where adventure meets luxury. The property contains roomy airstreams with spa-inspired bathrooms as well as cabins and suites to choose from for your overnight stay. The Basecamp Suites with canvas tents can hold up to 6 guests, in case you want to bring a few loved ones to join you in your intimate wedding celebration. AutoCamp Zion has a pool to cool off in after your nuptials, as well as a clubhouse to lounge in, which can be rented out if you want a little bit more than an elopement. Cuddle up by the firepits outside of your home-for-the-weekend and explore the area by complimentary bike rental. AutoCamp Zion takes “glamping” to the next level with a restaurant onsite – The Kitchen is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course, coffee. Cozy up in this wonderland and turn your elopement into a little honeymoon, too!
An elopement allows so much room for personalization, and the beauty of Zion AutoCamp gives even more material to work with. Play on the earthy tones of the area when it comes to your paper goods, decor, and florals. We recommend sending out an announcement card like these desert-inspired paper goods from Green Girl Design Co. to all of your would-be guests. It’s sort of like a save-the-date after-the-fact, to let your loved ones in on the good news and help them feel like an important part of it all. We love the idea of sending favors out, too, and these custom keychains from Beck Engraving Design Studio are the perfect, personal themed touch.
Haley + Chimere’s Zion Elopement included all of the bells and whistles of a traditional wedding on a smaller scale. One of the best parts (in our humble opinion) of eloping is that you can utilize your budget to go all-out on delicious food, florals, and all of the small details because you only have to budget for you. Take a page out of H+C’s book and say your vows in front of the river, take photos in front of a mobile backdrop (like this leather one from Ultraviolet Backdrops), and set up a stunning table-for-two that doesn’t hold back! Even though you aren’t sharing the actual day with your loved ones, you’ll be able to share your photos with them, so go glam on your beauty, use the ornate plates, cater a farm-to-table meal, add menus for a fancy touch, and have your wedding cake and eat it too!
