The Lazy J Ranch is just minutes from beautiful Vail, making it the perfect spot to bring all of your guests for the most magical wedding weekend!  This picturesque facility is ideal for creating the wedding of your dreams, with natural timber pavilions and rolling meadows fit for grand tents.  Nestled just below Bellyache Ridge, this gorgeous ranch property offers sweeping views of the Eagle River Valley and Castle Peak. The Lazy J Ranch is locally owned and maintains its’ cozy, homey feel after being a homestead for over 125 years ago. In addition to 3200 acres of pastures, trout ponds, and wooded timber, the Lazy J Ranch also boasts 3 miles of pristine private water on the Eagle River.  After a brief closing, the 4th Generation of the family has recently re-opened their incredible facility for couples to create their vision for an unforgettable day – and they are ready for you to host the most grand gathering amongst the beautiful countryside setting and western charm of the ranch.

Weddings at the Ranch

The Lazy J Ranch has an in-house event coordinator who will work with you to bring your vision to life and ensure that your special day is perfect.  The facility fee includes 9 hours of rental time, and additional hours are available to add on if you want to be there for the whole morning!  Curfew is at 10 pm, so your guests won’t be driving in the mountains too late.  The open air pavilions both include a fireplace and bar, and the lower pavilion has a small stage built in for a band, DJ, or any show you want to entertain your guests with!  The venue rental also includes 60-inch round tables and wooden folding chairs for up to 200 guests, and 6 eight-foot banquet tables for any welcome table, dessert table, or a long head table.  The property contains two gorgeous meadows that can be tented for a different feel of ceremony or reception (just like the dreamy all clear tent pictured here), a fire pit for cozy gatherings, and horseshoe pits and corn hole for your guests to enjoy during cocktail hour!  The pavilions and lower lawn can hold up to 200 guests, and the upper lawn could host 300 guests in a tent.  So basically, you have everything you need and plenty of room right on the ranch for the best day with your best people.
