Historic Manor Wedding in Colorado Foothills

Colorado Wedding

A pinch of Southern charm, a dash of Colorado foothills, and a heaping spoonful of newlywed bliss was the perfect recipe for Mike and Michelle’s Littleton, Colorado wedding. The Manor House was unlike any other venue this southern bride and her husband had visited. They wanted their family and friends to have the best of both worlds – the historic venue provided just that.

Slender, sky-high columns provided a picturesque frame for where Mike and Michelle shared their first look. With her stunning gown from local dress shop Blue Bridal Boutique and his chic Jos. A. Banks navy suit, the couple and the joy they radiated could not have been more perfectly paired.

Touches of rich greens and bursts of pale peach matched the brightness of the day. Mike and Michelle held their intimate ceremony on the back lawn of the Manor House, looking out across the foothills of Colorado. A pair of well-loved, down-hill ski’s leaned against the arch under which they said their vows- a nod to one of the couple’s favorite past-times. The couple started their marriage off with a bang- by celebrating with the Jewish tradition of stomping on a glass!

Sweet glasses of cool lemon and rosemary-infused water, and hand drizzled chocolate strawberries awaited guests. The couple mingled amongst their family and friends in elegant rooms with richly colored textiles, curtains, and vintage furniture.

Guests found their seats with a sweet favor of mini jars of Bijorn’s Colorado Honey and found tables laden with bold, blooming bouquets from local florist, Pots & Petals. The head table, positioned in front of a cascading arch of flowers and vines and framed by towering crystal candelabras, was the stage for tear-jerking and heart-warming cheers from family and friends to the newlyweds.
As the sky behind the Colorado foothills turned from soft pink to deep navy, guests gathered around crackling fire pits on the porches of the historic Manor House. The fire danced along to the tender music of Mike and Michelle’s first dance. This summer wedding was the essence of all things beauty, joy, and newlywed bliss.
