Lauren and Casey chose Grouse Mountain as their wedding venue to celebrate with 30 of their friends and family members. Their wedding took place on Easter weekend and they had no idea about what to expect weather wise! As it often happens in the mountains, the weather is rather unpredictable. On the morning of the wedding, it started snowing and outside it looked like a full-on Winter wedding!
The day started with a beautiful first look in the rain, followed by a little ride up the gondola through the fog. At the top of the mountain, Lauren and Casey braved the snow for photos and got a visit from Cleo, the barn owl that lives at Grouse Mountain.
After a heartfelt ceremony, they celebrated with a small group of friends and family. They added some unique little touches such as the guest favors that symbolize the union between their Canadian and American background.
