Skiing: Lake Louise is the perfect place for those who love to ski and snowboard! With over 4200 skiable acres, Lake Louise Ski Resort is the second largest ski resort in Canada and one of the largest in North America. There are also 2 other ski resorts within an hour’s drive if you’re looking to explore all the slopes. And, if traveling with your gear is too much hassle, you can rent gear through Chateau Ski & Snow.
Ice Skating: Ice skating is such a fun, yet romantic activity you and your new spouse can do together! Hold hands and slow skate around the rink or laugh your way around the ice as you twirl, glide and maybe even take a fall! Skating is available from mid-December to mid-April, depending on conditions. Bonus tip: Head out for ice skating at night for a smaller crowd! Join one of the Mountain Adventure Guides for a journey up the canyon to the Lower and Upper Falls via trails and catwalks.
