“Back in January I decided for the upcoming year, I wanted to save time every month for me to be creative with my work. I knew I wanted to create fun shoots that were not so typical. I want to show people that you can take pictures anywhere. So, I thought, why not do a fun elopement shoot! I first initially thought, why not do a cool roller rink shoot. More 70’s style, with bright colors. I reached out to vendors around the area and pitched them my idea. I was so surprised and honored when these amazing, creative, not to mention busy, women all loved it and wanted to help me bring my vision to life!! Our first initial location, the roller rink, cancelled on us the morning of our styled shoot. I had models and vendors coming from out of town and did not want to have to cancel. I thought about other places that could still bring us the same vibe, and came up with the bowling alley. I called the bowling alley manager and they were SO accommodating to us. They gave us the back room for us to use and create. I am so thankful for their hospitality. Despite the location hiccup, these ladies absolutely killed it. Everyone worked hard and pushed themselves to the creative max. My models were obviously so in love and had a blast hanging out at the bowling alley. This shoot turned out way better than I could have ever hoped for. I am so thankful to be in this profession and getting to meet such amazing, likeminded women.”
