Colorado Engagement

The Couple

Jennifer + Jared

Molly Margaret Photography captured Jennifer + Jared’s Mount Falcon engagement session in the prettiest light. We’re loving the inclusion of both fancy and casual clothes for this golden hour engagement!

The Engagement

I work in the wedding industry, and 2019 was a a very busy year. Every weekend I worked, so finding a day off for Jared to plan the day was proving very difficult. Finally, he had a Sunday picked out, July 28, 2019. We were going over to Mount Vernon Country Club, outside of Denver, for a “birthday brunch.” His parents own a house in the Club that his grandpa had built and his grandmother built a well established garden that has been maintained over the years. He took me down and showed some new flowers and told me to lean down and smell one particularly beautiful one. That’s when I heard camera’s clicking and music playing. I turned around and he was down on one knee. Jared can usually talk your ear off, but this was the first time he was at a complete loss for words. All he could manage was “yeah…so this is happening!” Both our families were watching from a balcony and started laughing.

After the celebration at the house, we went off to the Club for brunch. The surprises continued as 30 of our closest friends were waiting to celebrate with champagne and lots of smiles.
