Utah Anniversary

The Couple

Hailee + CJ

Anniversary shoots are just as important as bridals, engagements, or wedding photos! Don’t forget to capture your life as you continue to grow together! Let’s talk a walk down memory lane for this couple and their anniversary shoot. The year was 2005, Hailee had a heavy side part and wore head-to-toe Abercrombie, she was thriving as a 7th grader. It was the year she met her now husband, CJ. They became quick best friends and dated on and off since freshman year in high school. It has been over 3 years since Hailee married her junior high crush with shaggy hair, in their favorite place – Lake Powell. It’s crazy to look at your partner and see so many memories in them, like a junior high school science class or their first kiss at 15 behind her parents swing set in the backyard. They’ve grown up together and gotten to see each other’s highest of highs and lowest of lows. They’ve become crazy dog parents and spend their nights watching Game of Thrones, or the great British Bake Off (it’s called balance!). Every year on their anniversary, they travel to somewhere they’ve never been, always with no agenda and discovering as they go. That’s Hailee’s favorite part about their relationship – the no rush, no agenda, no stress adventures. She can’t wait to celebrate more anniversaries and discover new places with her person. 2020 was a year of trials, and while they weren’t able to take their anniversary trip, we still made an adventure in our home town, explored, and celebrated their life together!
