Free-Spirited Evergreen Lake House Wedding

Love Story

During a vacation to Colorado in April 2016, we went on a beautiful hike up a snow-covered mountain at the base of the Rockies in Boulder. It’s known as the Enchanted Mesa Trail and it truly lives up to its name. We had hiked for about 30 minutes in freshly fallen snow and got to an overlook where two creeks met, as we stood admiring the surrounding beauty Chris got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. It was magical and of course, I said YES in a screaming fashion! We spent the rest of the day celebrating with friends and our first show at Red Rocks. Colorado stole our hearts on that trip and after 10 incredible years in DC, we headed out west for our next adventure. We moved to Colorado in November 2016, and the rest is history!

Wedding Inspiration

Earthy, natural, free-spirited and atmospheric. Lots and lots of eucalyptus, crystals, gold and good vibes.

– Ashley + Chris
