Elopement Inspiration

It’s not every day you have your own personal floatplane but when your “groom” is a pilot it makes for a great day. Using the house of our “bride’s” grandparents on Flathead Lake we wanted to find all of the beautiful things about Fall in Montana from our color palette, floral choice and bridal gown.

We are a group of Seattle-area wedding vendors who came to Whitefish, Montana to experience all things about Big Sky Country. We were lucky enough to have Shane of Oak and Fig Floral (formerly Diamond Events + Floral who lived and worked in Whitefish) as our guide as we created a fall-inspired lake elopement stylized shoot.

For our tablescape, we started with a beautiful plaid blanket as our focal point and built upon that with our place settings offsetting a stunning floral cake from Fleur Bake Shop.

When it came to florals, Shane wanted to create a unique bridal bouquet, so he designed a pampas grass wreath with fall florals perfect for all bride no matter what season to carry on her wedding day.
