Fish Creek Park Engagement

We had plans to meet up with friends and go on a nature walk, originally hoping for a Larch Valley hike, but couldn’t get the timing right. Ended up meeting with them on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in late October after enjoying a lunch just the two of us. Our friends have a very sweet, two-year-old daughter (who will be featured in our wedding as the flower girl), and we were hoping to get a couple of family photos taken for their Christmas card. We figured we could get a couple of pictures taken of us since we didn’t have any in our camera rolls. We enjoyed a nice nature walk together and, after scouting out what turned out to be the perfect spot, we posed for some pictures and during that time, Matthew suddenly got down on one knee! I was completely shocked, thinking the proposal surely wasn’t coming until after Christmas. Obviously, the right answer was yes, and now we’re so excited to be getting married June 2019!
