The inspiration for this shoot came with the changing seasons and the serene location of River’s Edge. I wanted the property and nature that surrounds it to be the focal point of this shoot, so instead of competing for attention, we added to the elements. Corinthia Flowers collected driftwood along the riverbank to incorporate into the floral design, representing the location beautifully. The mix of dried and fresh florals played on the changes from summer to fall, while the mirror on the cake display reflected the surroundings beautifully. We wanted to include some unexpected focal points, which is where The Bottled Bronco came in with their box truck bar. This was a great opportunity to customize a cocktail hour set up with incredible food art from Grazing Tables YEG, paired with a gin and tonic bar. Anything that leaves an impression on guests, has our hearts! Design aside, what leaves a lasting impression on guests at any wedding is the couple in love. Luckily, this shoot was no different as Jason and Erin were the perfect mix to showcase love on the River’s Edge.
