Estes Park Summer Wedding

Wedding Day

It was the second marriage for both of us so we wanted a destination wedding. We didn’t want to do the typical beach wedding and, since my husband is outdoorsy, we decided a mountain wedding would be perfect. I looked up locations and fell in love with Estes Park.

I love lace and that gives a romantic feel and since we were getting married in the mountains I wanted some rustic touches, such as burlap and more natural elements so I combined the two. My style is very classic and my husband is more rustic so it was the merging of our personalities. Colors included rose gold, Blush, soft peach and mint/sage green, along with natural elements, like wood slices and burlap. Since we are a blended family, I created personalized bottles for each of us for a sand ceremony to symbolize us joining together as a family.

Favorite detail: Our cake topper…”You’re my person”

Most memorable moment: Our first dance, outside in the rain.

Other moments you loved, hated, cried, laughed or giggled at: The speeches were awesome, definitely filled the room with tears.
