Enchanting Western Elopement Inspiration

Utah Styled Shoot

The Inspiration

If you’ve ever been to Southern Utah, driving by the red rocks and the gorgeous venue of Open Sky totally gives you the western desert vibes and will instantly take your breath away. Having relatives that settled Southern Utah reminded me of them coming on their wagons and coming down to the hot lava rocks and finally getting to the enchanting and majestic views of Zion and feeling a sense of belonging. We wanted to incorporate old wagon wheels and an old whiskey bar to tie in the old western feel of this shoot, but still have a twist of a modern vibe with the edgy couple and stunning hand-stitched dress. The dress came from an incredible and driven wedding dress designer, Natalie Workman with Natalie Wynn Designs, that specializes in non-traditional couture wedding gowns. Once we saw Natalie’s dress we knew it would be the perfect fit for our bride and really brought the whole shoot together.
