Hand-sewn floral lace, elegant textures and delicate hues bring to life this Victoria, British Columbia styled shoot. This enchanting forest elopement inspiration, planned by Riske Photography, combines the natural beauty of the forest with delicate details for the perfect elopement.
When choosing the décor for this enchanting setup I knew I wanted to create a modern style while incorporating boho vibes to provide a whimsical feeling with delicate mood. I fell in love with the idea of incorporating various elements and styles tying it all together to inspire a unique enchantment using delicate blush hues, rustic colours and layers of different textures. The Willow gown is truly something to behold. Stunning hand-sewn floral lace sits upon ivory tulle, cascading to the floor gently. Bold ivory fringe adorns the underside of the sleeves, like a beautiful weeping willow tree swaying in a spring breeze. Like magical moonlight upon a garden, the Midnight Primrose gown is composed of glistening dark lace entwined with blue, black, and metallic hues on a delicate grey tulle. Bold lace cap sleeves rest effortlessly upon the shoulders, and a low back framed by broody florals completes the look. The gold bird cage vases consisted of different tones and sizes of palms and pompas grass. For the bouquet we incorporated varies dried florals with pink and cream tones like pink fern, phalaris, aveena, pink bunny tails and pompas grass to tie in all the florals.
