This gorgeous couple eloped in Canmore, Alberta with two of their best friends and their daughter, Love. The love Kezz-anne + Garrett share for each other and those around them is evident throughout these beautiful photos, captured by Aspen and Ash Photography.
The Elopement
I really believe that this couple and their daughter should be showcased, as they are the pure definition of love. One of my favourite moments from this elopement was when Kezz-anne spoke from her vows, “I promise to teach love what strong black love is.”
Kezz-Anne + Garrett had planned on a bigger elopement with dinner and the works until COVID-19 happened. Once their plans changed, the elopement became about pure connection and love to them. Regardless of the troubles in the world around them ruining their plans, these three decided to toss away the idea of a “normal” wedding to make a day that was truly about their love. Nothing else mattered to them except saying, “I do” in the presence of their daughter, Love. I stood in awe of them as I still could hear the excitement through their words and the dimple creases in their skin. They are an image of strong black love.
To top it all off, their maid of honour + best man set up a plan with me to surprise them right before they said ” I do” to let them know they weren’t alone.
