Montana Wedding

The Couple

Madison + Dalton

The Wedding

“Madison and Dalton came up to Montana from Texas to exchange their vows swaddled in the mountains in Tom Miner Basin. It was a crisp morning as I drove up Paradise Valley to meet the couple and their family. As I walked into the home the aroma of the most incredible breakfast filled their air personally prepared by Chef Luis. The couple brought Chef Luis up from Cabo to cook for their week long excursion in Paradise Valley. The morning would include giggles and laughs as the couple got ready with their family members. Madison would put on her grandmas perfume after she got her dress on and you could see the emotion well up in her eyes as she held her mother’s hand taking a moment to absorb all of the memories and this very moment. Dalton poured himself a glass of whiskey as he enjoyed time with his family in the downstairs area of the home. They picked out a spot right outside the home to exchange their vows to one another surrounded by 10,000ft mountains and in what is known as grizzly bear alley due to the dense population of bears in the Tom Miner Basin. Their ceremony would be filled with laughter, tears and finished off with a kiss before heading out to explore Paradise Valley. We chose to go to The Old Saloon in Emigrant, MT where every passerby would give the couple a congratulations followed up with a few words of wisdom for the newlywed. They would enjoy a few drinks followed up by a shot behind the bar. Waiting at the house would be two long tables from Montana Party Rentals decorated in linens, menus, and the most incredible florals from local florists Rooted in Montana here in Livingston, MT. Every detail of the day intentionally planned out by the couple. The day ended with the most incredible food, first dances and a private cake cutting. We would spend the following day driving about 6 hours North West to East Glacier Park for their day after session and would spend time exploring the mountainous and vast landscape that Northern Montana has to offer.”
