The Inspiration

This particular shoot was a dream-come-true shoot for me. It has been one of my favorite projects I have worked on so far. I hand picked my friends/vendors to help me create something beautiful and different and they all succeeded. A special thank you to Shayna at Montana Diaries for giving input and helping coordinate! The planning process was simple and it all fell together. I wanted to do an elegant, romantic themed shoot with warm florals with navy and champagne tones. Glacier has epic views, so why not combine that with some beautiful details. On the day of the shoot, we all met at an Airbnb initially to get ready with Brittnee with Ethereal Hair and Makeup. For me, there is just something kind of fun about getting people who don’t know each other together and just seeing what happens haha! We had a blast watching Brittnee do her magic and we all made a couple of new friends in the process. After we all got ready, we headed up to Bowman lake in West Glacier, Montana. Glacier wasn’t fully open at the time because of the snow clearing progress and uncertainties with Covid-19. I am SO glad that I have made friends that knew the area. One of them suggested Bowman Lake and it was perfect. It was quiet with amazing views – we basically had the area to ourselves. Here we are. The beautiful result. The final product. I love it.
