Audrey + Michael
Love Story
“Audrey moved across the United State to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a speech language pathologist. Michael was a New York native who attended the same college but was a year older. Both played golf at the collegiate level where they met and fell in love with one another. Michael helped Audrey move back from college during COVID and couldn’t leave her as well as the opportunity to live in Colorado. Michael and Audrey have always loved spending time doing their favorite hobbies together, golfing, fishing, and skiing, to note a few. That’s why it was so important to throw the fly in water for a few casts following saying “I Do.” Fishing during the wedding day is a moment Audrey‘s papa (grandpa) has wanted to see his entire life. Audrey grew up looking at Mount Sopris and had always imagined getting married in front of it as a beautiful backdrop. When the two toured Spring Creeks Ranch, it was the perfect place for their dream wedding to come to life. From the ceremony meadow, to the fishing creeks running through out the venue, and the river front access, no one can create a better place to tie the knot. The wedding weekend was filled with a western themed rehearsal dinner highlighted by barbecue, line dancing and bull riding. On the wedding day, it was a complete 180. Audrey got ready in the Molly Brown Suite at the Hotel Colorado, where she grew up watching women prepare for their wedding’s her entire life. Michael doesn’t miss the chance to dress up so it was only fitting that the attire at the wedding was formal. Audrey surprised Michael with two dresses, allowing Michael to get two first looks- One privately and the other walking down the aisle. The night continued with a grand celebration including bridal party dances, tearful speeches, a sunset photoshoot and a sparkler exit to their happily ever after.”
