The Couple

Brad + Layla

The Wedding

“Brad and Layla, where to begin. If anyone knows them, they know how generous, thoughtful, and fun these two are. They are the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve known them your entire life within 5 minutes of speaking to them. Their connection with each other and others is something wonderful to witness. So naturally, when they started to plan their wedding, they put their heart and soul into it from the beginning. Literally, down to every detail. Layla worked on their decor and all the details all year long once they started to plan. They included literally their entire friend and family group in everything and made sure the day was not only about them, but also to celebrate the love and relationships they built over their time together. Their wedding day was full of laughter, many happy tears, so much dancing, special intimate moments, and so many sweet surprises. Their day started off with them getting ready in separate locations – Brad at his friend’s home, Layla at her mom’s home – having some beers and mimosas, and quietly preparing for their big day. We then ventured up to their intimate ceremony location, which was surrounded by the prettiest mountain range and a ton of trees. It was totally private, and their guests were there ready to show their love and support for Brad and Layla. The ceremony was made special by their personal vows they wrote for each other – which made everyone well up into tears. They also made sure to include Layla’s sweet son, Tristan, which was another tear-jerker for sure. We then moved to another location, the Lavender farm, to do their bridal portraits, which was nothing less than a blast. Brad and Layla have a ton of friends, so naturally everyone was included and I don’t think they would have had it any other way. Once the reception began, everyone feasted on the delicious meals that their family provided, and sat and listened to the many sweet speeches and words that their guests had for them. By the end of the night, pretty much everyone was on the dance floor just having the best time. It is clear that Brad and Layla made such an impact on so many lives, and I am so thankful and blessed I was able to witness their new beginning as husband and wife.”
