In the current times within British Columbia many couples are finding themselves in the position of re-imagining their large scale wedding day down to a two person elopement. We wanted to showcase the ability and beautiful intimacy of eloping now, and leaving the large scale celebrating, until later. Coming together with a team of local Fraser Valley wedding vendors, with this styled shoot we demonstrated how couples looking to book a traditionally large scale wedding venue can take advantage of those venues offering ‘micro wedding’ packages. With a focus on a two person elopement and just how special that can be, we wanted everything to be both intimate and so romantic. We felt that a sit down on the floor post ceremony charcuterie board and snuggle, was an amazing example of the ability to really savour and enjoy the company of your partner on your elopement day. With a romantic colour pallet of cool blues, rose pinks, pops of red, a purple suite for our groom and our bride’s cathedral length veil, it all came together so beautifully for our evening styled two person elopement shoot.
