Edgy Mount Evans Engagement Inspiration

One of my favorite parts about the wedding industry is working with all the amazing boss babes. As a diamond broker and jewelry designer, I am not a part of the wedding planning process, so I enjoy being able to put together styled shoots and getting to work with all the amazing women in the Colorado wedding industry. When I put together this styled engagement shoot I knew I wanted to work with some of Colorado’s A-List wedding vendors. My inspiration for this specific shoot was a sexy love story lost in the Rocky Mountains. I never could have imagined the vendors I worked with would help me bring my vision to life in such an extraordinary way.

Photography

Grace Gatto is one of my favorite Colorado wedding photographers and the photographer who captured this love story. What I love most about Grace is her spunk. Even in the pouring rain, this woman is positive. She is a wonderful coach to her clients, giving fun and playful cues that will create fun photographs with real-life emotion. When choosing a wedding photographer, couples must consider that there is no other person during their wedding day that they will spend more time with and in such an intimate way than their photographer. Grace is perfect for just that. She is fun, smiley, professional, and has the gift of capturing life’s most magical moments.

Videography

Videography is ­the number one thing I hear my clients say they are not going to do. My biggest recommendation for your wedding day is to not to skip this! Your wedding day takes months or even years of planning and happens in the blink of an eye. Videography allows you to relive it, seeing all the details you may have missed. Kathryn from BLNK Films will not just check all of your wedding day video boxes, but she will also create a fine piece of art that will bring you to tears and laughter every time you watch it. When Kathryn delivered me the film for this shoot, I cried. I had given her free range to do her magic and she did just that and more. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I do.

Style is everything for an engagement session. Ashley from Midnight Rambler is a styling genius. I had been dying to work with her ever since I discovered her boutique. Hair and makeup is not a service you want to skip for any photoshoot, especially your wedding day. What I love about Tori from Bronze and Beautiful Bridal is that she utilizes the airbrush technique which will make you look naturally flawless. Tori is great at bringing the style you want to life while matching it to your complexion. What looks good on a Pinterest model may need a little tweaking to fit your style.
