“Aja and Ryan grew in love for just over 5 years when Ryan asked Aja to be the person he would grow old with, love, support, and cherish forever. Ryan worked with Alexis Russell (a million heart eye emojis!) to create the perfect the ring for Aja — a gorgeous, black diamond kite solitaire that exudes cool, offbeat elegance, just like Aja. Aja told me, “I think Ryan loves making me laugh almost as much as I love the laughter he brings into my life.” I think these photos say it all. This wedding day felt very stress-free. Aja and Ryan chose to have their wedding at Europa Food Farm Festival in Los Lunas, New Mexico and it couldn’t have been more lovely. Hosting a coffee shop, B&B, and farm (with Addis, the magnificent burro!), this was the perfect setting for a late October wedding. The Sisson’s day included a mixture of many DIY’d items including pampas grass features, calligraphy which Aja learned from a modern calligraphy workshop by Ashley Rose of
Scrybe, Topo Chico glass bottle centerpieces, a handmade citrus lasso, and custom matchstick boxes designed by Ryan. The night ended with a dazzling sparkler exit under the stars.”
