Dreamy Whistler Waterfall Elopement Inspiration

British Columbia Styled Shoot

This couple, Caitlyn and Moreley got married in the summer of 2018, but due to weather and many different factors they didn’t receive the wedding images that they pictured or dreamed of. When I approached them to recreate some wedding photos with me in the beautiful Whistler, BC area they were instantly interested! So while these images weren’t taken on their actual wedding day, they are a real couple that actually got married. Sometimes it takes a second try to get it right! One of my favorite moments from our session together was when I had them posting at the base of the waterfall and all of a sudden, they were drenched by a gust of mist. You can see it in the photos exactly when it happens!

We first met five years ago on January 10. It was one the best days I’ve had skiing at Powder King – not knowing how life changing that day and meeting him would be. As he would say – he couldn’t help but love my fireball shooting, no makeup wearing, chicken wing sauce covered face at lunch, somersault flipping in the snow, joking self and he just couldn’t quit staring. Now I’m thanking my lucky stars I had that man walk into my life – no matter how much crazy that has come with – because I really hit the husband jackpot with him.
