A dreamy palette of ivory, fresh whites, cool greys and muted mauve with natural untouched textures of stone and clay. Mckenzie Jayne Designs envisioned and created, with a team of amazing vendors, a South of France Feeling within an Alberta Venue. Starting with a modern, luxurious canvas at the Commons YYC, white rendered walls, concrete floors, stone features, flooding daylight and high ceilings. An awe-inspiring backdrop by The LOVLI Collection + Coven Creative Lighting piecing in antique, unique lighting.
Transparent ghost chairs provided by Modern Rentals lined on the concrete floor and adorned with stunning florals by Flower Artistry created a romantic aesthetic. Cool tones, dried florals and textured stoneware create the setting. Modern and minimal is brought to life through the little details. Pretty Sweet YYC delicately created a delectable cake placed on top of a raw slab of concrete. Come reception, drape cheese cloth over long, communal white tables, layer stacked ceramics in earthen tones and handwritten name tags for a natural touch. Create an intimate setting with a handmade sign from Mountain Grove Studio.
Brie & Banquet’s luxe, modern Grazing Table features luscious layers of natural stone, white marble and wood, and perfectly styled pampas and palms adding even more texture and dimension to the abundant and lavish layers of cheese and charcuterie.
The bride is simple and soft in a silk gown provided by Blush and Raven Bridal Boutique. Adorned with a rare diamond by Alberta Diamond Exchange, her long locks and dewy complexion are styled by Something Borrowed Beauty. Sarah Pukin Photography wonderfully captured the intimate details as Laura Ann Cinema documented behind the scenes styling.
