New Year’s Eve was such an easy pick for our wedding date after Andrew proposed back in February 2017. We both have a love for winter and what better time to have a wedding than when everyone is already getting together for the holidays. The colors took me some time to figure out but once I saw rose gold on a winter background, I immediately fell in love. The glitter was so perfect for New Year’s Eve and a color at “that time” that I hadn’t seen used much for weddings. I decided to DIY most of my own details on everything; right down to the “midnight kisses” on the table. It took me a lot of sleepless Pinterest nights, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way! My handcrafted details made the day so special and family-oriented. The day could not have been more perfect! The snow fell the night before and made our wedding pictures absolutely amazing: a complete winter wonderland! As for the rest of our lives together, we hope we continue to live in Missoula after Andrew graduates from pharmacy school and are simply enjoying our marriage with friends and family.
– Bride, Kensie
From the Photographer
This was pretty much the MOST BEAUTIFUL winter wedding in Montana. Kensie was a stunning bride and had everything planned to a “t.” All of her little details were laid out and ready to photograph the moment I stepped into the getting ready hotel room. I knew right when I arrived that the day was going to be fabulous.
The rose gold colors, the sparkles, the golden sunlight bouncing off of Missoula’s freshly snowy streets-need I say more?! Kensie & Andrew really are something out of a fairy tale. Their love is so evident when you’re around them! Everyone smiled, laughed, and cried their way through their love-filled wedding day.
