Inspired by the moments after a couple says “I do!“, La Fete Floral & Events planned this sophisticated & stylish, colorful & chic styled shoot at Twenty & Creek outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. The day was all about fun, “the party”, indulgence, celebrating the vows, and the special one-on-one intimate moments after the ceremony that make the night memorable. The “Look”
The creative team for this styled shoot opted for an elegant sleek gown and black tuxedo, famous Jimmy Choo shoes for both bride and groom and elegant modern jewelry from O.C. Tanner Jewelers to emphasize the vibe for the party portion of the night. The couple also had an outfit change mid-night, putting the bride in a fun and flirty pink beaded fringe dress and hot pink shoes to emulate the modern-tradition of an outfit change a lot of brides bare for their reception. This styled shoot even showed inspiration for having your hair stylist do a dramatic new do for dancing, changing up your hair to signify the celebration has begun!
The Decor
For decor, this creative team use extravagant explosion of color with pinks, blues, and plums accented by fruits of the season. Flowers were moved from the ceremony to the stairs after the nuptials to add more of a lush look to the night. Candlelight is a very important element to the dimmed late-night atmosphere, so tapered candles and hurricane votives added to the overall warmth of the decor. Stationery custom-designed by Beck Engraving Design Studio tied the whole tablescape together and signaled throughout to let guests know what food & fun to expect during the night.
The Food
Colorful, high-end plates were created by The Blended Table in this styled shoot to help the reception feel like the true main event. Late night cocktails were shaken up by Top Shelf to help show how the party portion can be a focal point, and even later night snacks tie the whole shoot together to inspire for the most fun reception!
The Cake
A showstopper cake is always a great way to grab everyones’ attention and let them know that this reception is one to remember! Flour & Flourish baked up this beautiful cake for the shoot, covered with delicate sugar flowers to match the color scheme.
The Champagne Tower
Every great party has some great entertainment! Guests love to watch a sweet champagne tower, so this styled shoot included one with a little Rose twist!
The Exit
One more outfit change for good measure! A sleek little bridal suit and a classy getaway car from Utah Vintage Cars is the perfect way to end the perfect night.
