Jason & I got married in the small ski town of Red River, New Mexico. We both grew up skiing as children in this tiny town and we loved the idea of getting married up in the mountains. Since Red River is such a small town, we did a lot of the planning and decorating ourselves. My mom brought up all her antique silver to use for the reception and my dad made heart-shaped wreaths made of vines. Around 80 of our family & friends rode the chairlift up the mountain to watch us get married. The views were absolutely gorgeous which made the photos so special.
We rented a bed & breakfast for the reception that was situated right on the river that runs through the town. As the wedding party was walking from the chairlift to the reception, a family of deer walked right in front of us, I think it was a sign. We danced all night by the river under bistro lights. It was a perfect ending to a perfect wedding.
