Our lovely couple tied the knot at the world-renowned five-star, Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City (Deer Valley), UT; over the long Labor Day weekend. Both the bride and groom live local to Orange County, CA but with the groom’s family being from Wyoming, naturally, they picked The Stein Eriksen Lodge as the perfect destination wedding location perched 8,200 feet mid-mountain in Deer Valley. Just a quick two-hour flight away from the OC – all of Robyn and Tyson’s friends and family flew in for this epic mountain wedding. The ceremony took place on Stein’s Flagstaff Deck; which was nothing short of magnificent with breathtaking mountain landscapes and perfect sun. The bridal suite at the Stein is enormous, the perfect size for her large bridal party and beautifully positioned with a huge balcony right above the ceremony deck. I vividly remember Robyn having her hair and makeup done on the balcony that morning and calling for me to look up just to say hi. She was so happy and truly taking in every moment enjoying the view from her suite on the large balcony and watching as the vendor team brought her vision to life down below.
The forecasted rain made us all a little nervous but come ceremony time – the sun made its way through the clouds to shine down on our couple and make for some amazing imagery. Robyn had a distinct style she envisioned for her wedding day – incorporating refined luxury with the unparalleled natural mountain landscape. It was an incredible experience planning this special day with Robyn and her mom Donna. I have to say that as memorable as the natural landscape was on the wedding day it was just as lovely getting to know the bride and groom’s family and friends on rehearsal day and wedding day. So much love for the couple from all sides. Definitely a wedding I will remember for years to come.

I must admit, when I first went on Match I didn’t expect anything from it and I certainly didn’t expect to find my prince charming from Lyman, Wyoming. Tyson grew up in a small town called Lyman, Wyoming and I grew up in Newport Beach, California. Tyson moved to Orange County for work and soon after that, our love story began. It started on August 8, 2016, when Tyson first messaged me on Match. Two and a half weeks later on August 24, 2016, we went on our first date and both our lives were forever changed. I knew after two months that Tyson was the one for me and it seemed as if Tyson felt the same way! About 7 months after dating we decided to take the next step and move in together.
A year and four months after dating, Tyson took me to Paris for New Year’s Eve and 12/31/17 was the happiest day of my life! We were engaged!!! Tyson and I were able to have literally what I would call our dream wedding. On September 1, 2018, my dream came true and I married my best friend in Deer Valley Utah at The Stein Eriksen Lodge. The Stein Eriksen is truly a spectacular wedding venue with the most hospital wedding coordinator, Tracy Selman, and her team. We both are so grateful we choose the Stein to say “I Do” at. We had the most amazing team of vendors starting with my wedding planner, Shannon Paigah from Something Lovely Weddings and Events, to my amazing florist Kellie at Artisan Bloom, my photographer Brogen Jessup, and my videographer Kale Fitch, we are so thankful for all of the help from our family and friends and the amazing vendors that made our day a true fairy tale wedding!
Our advice would be to enjoy all of the planning even when it gets stressful. Just enjoy it because it is the most amazing time of your life. Soak in your wedding day because it goes by way too fast and you will cherish that day and those memories forever.
