The inspiration for our shoot was the recent celestial trends and jewel tones, with pops of rich color. We were really set on shooting in this abandoned greenhouse at a new wedding venue in Boise, ID, with models looking super regal in comparison. From the start, we knew we wanted to showcase an LGBTQ elopement, with LGBTQ models. This entire shoot was a group effort by all of the wedding vendors. We had Sara Michelle Weddings design the shoot to feature a large moon backdrop, with textural touches of feathers and velvet to really make the colors pop, along with similar design aspects for the sweetheart table. We also had the photographer, Thistle and Pine Creative, arranging vendors and models and assisting in the design to make sure it was everything she envisioned as well. The florist, Petal Works Design Studio was an enormous help in building the gorgeous, large moon backdrop. Without her assistance, it would have been extremely hard to produce such a beautiful and well-designed piece. Boise Cakery provided the cake for this shoot and it was perfect! We never want to hinder or not allow vendors to have creative freedom, so we allowed her to design whatever she wanted and it fit in perfectly with our look. The gold touches and lights that she added to her cake were inspired and extremely creative. In this group effort, we all knew our main goal was to show our creativity and to produce a beautiful shoot. We cannot thank each and every vendor enough for coming together and making this dream a reality!
