Blake and I met in 2017 on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel (crazy, I know). We were both living in San Diego (Blake is a San Diego native) at the time. Our first date was at Smoking Gun in San Diego for happy hour followed by dinner at C Level, which became one of our favorite restaurants. The date lasted over 8 hours and the rest is history. The saying ‘when you know, you know’ definitely rings true in our situation! This year, Blake and I decided to move to Idaho, where I’m originally from. Shortly after the move on a beautiful fall day, Blake and I went on a casual Boise greenbelt walk and, to my surprise, he got down on one knee. I was seriously shocked! Blake included my entire family in the proposal as well, which was so special to me. We are so excited to spend forever together!
