Crisp Fall Wedding Day at Devil’s Thumb Ranch

Colorado Wedding

“Love Story”

Blake and I dated long distance for the majority of our relationship, him in Denver, me in Dallas. During this time, we made the sweetest memories hiking in the mountains, just the two of us. He moved back to Texas and proposed on top of Vail Mountain during our first trip back to Colorado together. We couldn’t imagine anything more special than a mountain top wedding ceremony! While we were planning, I asked Blake what he was most looking forward to and always got the same answer – he couldn’t wait to have all of our people in our place. Devil’s Thumb Ranch was a dream and we were blown away by how comfortable and connected we felt with all of our vendors. We received most of our referrals from the lovely Kara Delay who planned and executed our wedding with nothing short of grace. The Scobeys felt like old friends and captured our most intimate moments beautifully, and Bounce band…let’s just say that my husband CROWD SURFED if that tells you how much fun we had.

There are few moments in life where the people you love are all in one place, so take in every moment. Your wedding will be the most special day of your lives to date, but your marriage will be the greatest gift every day after that until forever.
