Although I absolutely love light colored weddings, I wanted to create something different for this shoot. Color is everything to me and couples are sometimes afraid to use it – including in their home decor. I thought that creating this would help people see that color in weddings can be a wonderful thing. It can be classy, timeless and elegant. I looked through La Tavola Linen’s website and completely fell head over heels over their Deco Floral Mustard tablecloth and I knew right away I had to use it! Mustard, mixed with coral and turquoise gave this shoot complete life!
For this shoot I enlisted the wonderful florist Inspired Designs and cake artist A Cake Come True. The crazy thing is that I never showed them coral peonies or small pineapples in the mood board I created, and the day of the shoot they both showed up with them. The florist with real flowers and the cake designer with ones made out of sugar matching the real ones as if they had gotten the flowers from the same place! It all came together very nicely with Tasha Rae Designs designing the stationery and Hazel Grove with their furniture. Everything completely came to life that day and the real life couple Emily and Jovan completely made it all a dream! This was a real dream team to have worked with and Elevate Photography captured the day beautifully.
This truly shows how great vendors can work as a team and how couples can incorporate beautiful bold colors into their wedding without having to be afraid!
