We met through our college track team at the movie theater. He sat next to me and I was instantly interested! I always knew we would end up together and several months later we started dating. When he proposed we had driven to Sapphire Point and started walking through the snow there. The snow was as high as the picnic tables and we sat on top of a picnic table and looked out at the vista. Eventually, he asked me if I wanted a Cliff Bar and reached into his backpack and pulled out a little blue box. Even when he opened it I still didn’t know what was going on! He asked me to marry him and I said “YES!” On our drive home we stopped at Cooper’s on the Creek in Georgetown, because there was no Cliff Bar and I was really hungry. I have a Leo Diamond engagement ring. It has a circular center stone with a halo of diamonds around it and on the sides of the bands. It has a diamond on the inside of the band as well. I love when you look at the rings side profile because you can see the vintage details on the under gallery.
We wanted to keep our engagement session simple and fun so we didn’t bring any accessories. We just wanted to utilize the environment around us! We played in the creek and climbed a lot of rocks. I wore two skirt and top outfits. The first was a blue lace top with a keyhole back and a blue and white striped skirt. The second was a tulle white skirt and a pink tank top. I put a jean jacket over this outfit in some photos. I also hiked to my photo destinations in my Chacos and then put on some killer heels when I made it to the perfect spot with dramatic backdrops. My fiance wore a denim long sleeve and tan pants.
