There’s something about the clean, calm air in the hilly Colorado front range that makes for the perfect backdrop for a wedding. So naturally, when the opportunity presented itself for us to be a part of a styled wedding shoot in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, we couldn’t help but join in.
This shoot took place at the Preserve at Bingham Hill, located not too far outside of Fort Collins, Colorado. The venue, which spans ten acres of some of the most gorgeous land east of the mountains, has some of the most serene views in the area; truly a perfect getaway wedding venue. From green fields and a lovely pond and gazebo to sweet little wooden fences and winding dirt roads, the venue almost looks like it came straight out of wine country.
The shoot had rustic influences with a very organic, earthy feel. The reception space had lovely exposed wood walls, white floor to ceiling drapes, and the cutest twinkling lights along the wall. The communal table was covered in greenery and an overgrown flower centerpiece, and the cake looked like something straight out of a garden, with lovely flowers woven throughout. To tie it all together, the real-life couple could not have been sweeter. They took the opportunity to snuggle in close as the chilly Colorado air swept through, which made for the absolute sweetest photos.
