White Table Catering and Events – with the help of Sweetheart Events – styled an equally eye catching & mouth-watering photoshoot at Palate Kitchen in Vancouver, Canada. Located inside the famous Jameson House in the heart of the city’s downtown financial district, the venue space boasts dazzling high ceilings with two mezzanines that have a historic yet elegant, city atmosphere. The creative team drew inspiration from bright and beautiful colors to design a playful, yet chic, “rehearsal dinner” for this shoot. The highlight of a rehearsal dinner is of course the dinner, and we are definitely kissing the chef after seeing these savory bites. White Table Catering never ceases to amaze us with the tasty and truly beautiful treats they whip up. This shoot included stunning finger foods (including mini chicken and waffles – YUM!) as well as some family style eats that look almost too pretty to pass around the table. Before cake, each guest was given a starter sweet to cleanse the palette, too.
The sign says it all, everything you need for a great celebration is love and cake. Bee Bop Sweet Shop baked not one, but TWO beautiful spring-inspired cakes to be cut for this sweet styled shoot.
When we said this vendor team drew inspiration from color, we meant it! The long tables for this rehearsal dinner were filled with multi-colored tapered candles, fresh springtime florals, and a black menu to contrast against the color and make everything pop all the more. We are in love with these beautiful blooms in bud vases from Celsia Floral that go gorgeously with the alternating bold colored chairs Palate Kitchen has, proving that if you just use *all* of the colors, you can tie them together to create a seamless look.
To top it all off, the creative team mixed up some colorful cocktails that emphasized this shoot’s playful atmosphere. Host Collection provided multi-colored pastel coupes that built what might be the prettiest little champagne tower we’ve ever laid our eyes on!
