From the Bride Carley:
Bobby and I chose to get married at The Moulton Barn for it's raw and natural beauty. We wanted it to feel rustic and simple, knowing that the landscape of Grand Teton National Park would be all that we needed to make our ceremony feel special.
We had our mutual best friend Jonathan Hunt be our officiant. He knew us from the very beginning of our relationship, and it just felt right that he would marry us. To add a special touch during our ceremony, Bobby and I performed a ceremonial branding that imprinted both of our last name initials to symbolize the matrimony of two families becoming one.
Bobby designed the brand himself and had a local blacksmith make it for our special day. He also had a custom reclaimed barn wood plaque made for the brand so that we would have a special memento to cherish forever.
We chose the Q Roadhouse as our reception site for many reasons. We wanted our reception to feel laid back and to also have an option for indoor and outdoor entertaining. They also know how to throw a good party and always deliver amazing service and food!
We had an outside bar that was furnished with a reclaimed barn door, corn hole set up on the side lawn and cocktail tables for socializing. When the sun finally set, we also had it decorated with white bistro lights to make it feel romantic and cozy.
The inside was designed and decorated beautifully by our wedding coordinator. We had light blush and white paper lanterns with strings of white lights. Tables were decorated with custom made reclaimed wood flower boxes filled with rustic flowers as centerpieces; in addition to bud vases, mason jars, mercury votives and white candles.
