Brix and Mortar is a stunning wedding venue in the heart of Vancouver’s bustling Yaletown neighbourhood. Once an industrial hub, Yaletown brings character to downtown urban life. Built within the walls of 1912 heritage brick building, this locally-owned and operated restaurant merges beautiful design with delicious food and beverage. It’s the epitome of industrial chic and the perfect wedding venue for the modern couple.

This idyllic restaurant boasts an atmosphere that is inviting, romantic and traditional, with a touch of modern. With a capacity for 90 seated guests and 34 in its heated courtyard, Brix and Mortar presents itself as a viable option for an average-sized wedding or small, intimate elopement. The space is divided into two different rooms: the Homer Street Room and the Hamilton Street Room. Both rooms are beautiful but different–the Homer Street Room contains the iconic glass covered patio and the Hamilton Room features large chandeliers and exposed brick walls. For those who want the outdoor feel without stressing about the weather, the Homer Street Room is the locale for them. Over the years, the restaurant has been home to over 750 weddings, meaning the staff is more than ready to ensure that your special day goes off without a hitch!
In our opinion, one of the best parts of Brix and Mortar is its virtual tour offering. Here, you can view the entire wedding venue, from its sleek indoor dining room to its “secret garden-like” interior courtyard. Think Chicago’s Restoration Hardware meets Toronto’s Distillery District–sophisticated, alluring and lush. If you are across the country or even in the U.S. and plan on spending your wedding weekend on the West Coast, the virtual tour makes it easy for you to tour the locale without the fuss of booking flights, accommodations and more. On top of it all, Brix and Mortar has some of the best food in Vancouver with dishes to suit all tastes.
