Following getting engaged the previous spring, we started to plan an elaborate, 180 guest wedding in Park City, Utah. In May 2020, we made the tough decision to cancel our large celebration due to COVID-19 and in turn we started to plan a 40 guest, micro wedding. My parents have a cabin in the mountains of Brighton, Utah and it turned out to be the most beautiful and fitting background to tie the knot. Our wedding day was relaxed and filled with laughter, love, and fun! Cancelling our big, white wedding was the best decision we could’ve made. Getting ready in my childhood cabin and being surrounded by only our closest friends and family was intimate and made our day that much more special.
