Holly + Paul
Holly and Paul are two incredibly special people and we were so lucky to have them as clients and collaborators. Paul’s family is from Montana and they knew they wanted to plan a destination wedding weekend with their nearest and dearest in Big Sky, Montana to share their little slice of heaven with everyone. After COVID put a damper on their plans, they postponed their wedding for exactly one year from their original date so they could celebrate with everyone. We planned an incredible weekend that kicked off with a true Montana BBQ by the water. For the wedding itself, we crafted a thoughtful, authentic, and intentional day that was filled with gorgeous design elements without ever being too much or over the top. The verdict? A ceremony space with foraged foliage and a wild aisle that enhanced the spaces’ natural beauty, a riverside cocktail hour with lounges, local beers, artisanal honey for guests to take home with them, and a strings band. As guests were invited into the tent for the reception, they enjoyed local fare like fresh trout and bison tenderloin, a gorgeous wedding cake by Sweet and Tarte, carefully curated tablescapes with wildflowers, river rocks, and varying taper candles, and more. After a year of not being able to celebrate, Holly and Paul and their family and friends partied the night away under a canopy of twinkly lights that echoed the big Montana sky. All captured perfectly by Orange Photographie.
