Inspired by the timelessness of the Chateau des Fleurs, Pen and Lens Photography wanted to get back to the wedding styles that have endured through the decades while the world around us has been confronted by so much upheaval. This modern haven provided an elevated, luxurious escape on a chilly winter day. Guests are prefaced with the timeless style by the matching invitation suite which features transparent vellums, velvet finishes, and embossed interiors all sealed in black wax. The black and white suit paired with the luxurious dress from LaNeige Bridal anchor the subtle gold and pink flourishes. These are complimented by a contemporary china set featuring black and rosé crystal goblets, gold tablewares, and chic plateware. The ceremony arch-stands work as a pair of pedestals for the opulent flowers that overflow with life – the perfect metaphor for the beginning of a marriage. Similarly, the cake stands atop a gold and marble base, mixing circular and square shapes that catch beautiful light on the detailed, textured finishes.
